Job summary

RAFFLES MEDICAL GROUP LTD is seeking a detail-oriented claims processing professional in Singapore. The role requires evaluating policies, processing medical claims, and ensuring timely settlements.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders (preferably with minimum 1 year of related work experience)
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point)
• Though not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with some experience in the insurance industry preferably with experience handling Group Insurance / products
• Able to work independently and fast learner
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight deadline in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer oriented
• Team player

Responsibilities

• Review and process claims in accordance with policy contract and guidelines.
• Ensure claim settlement is concluded within the agreed Turnaround Time (TAT).
• Check data entry processes to ensure compliance with minimal error.
• Verify claims/reports prepared by the junior staff and ensure accuracy in them.
• Manage emails and telephone enquiries and respond in a timely manner per KPI.
• Liaise with medical institutions for medical reports and issuance of Letter of Guarantee.
• Analyze workflow processes and streamline when necessary for efficiency.
• Coach and train junior staff.
• Embrace technology and seek enhancements of existing system and participate in IT discussions/UAT testing.
• Any other projects assigned as and when required.
