Job summary

Fonda Global Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Civil/Structural Site Engineer to participate in planning and executing civil and structural works. You will support the Project Manager and Construction Manager in daily operations, prepare method statements, sequencing, sketches and technical submissions.

You will monitor site activities, collaborate with trade contractors and clients, and ensure timely delivery of quality services.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 3 years of experience in building and/or geotechnical projects.
Familiar with local codes and authority submission procedures.
Experience with precast concrete is a plus.
Proactive, responsible and a team player with good communication skills.
Able to take ownership and demonstrate strong leadership and organizing abilities.
Able to work independently with 5.5 work days.

Responsibilities

Involved in planning and execution of civil and structural works.
Assist Project Manager and Construction Manager in day-to-day operations.
Prepare method statements, construction sequencing, sketches and technical submissions.
Monitor site works and optimize methods for safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with peers, liaise with trade contractors, clients and consultants for timely delivery.
Prepare Inspection and Test Plans and conduct inspections.
Check drawings for discrepancies, perform field verification, and issue clarifications.
Ensure updated drawings including shop drawings are used by site team.
Prepare site records and submit reports to the office.
Assist in preparation of reports and presentations to management, clients and stakeholders.
