Job summary

FIF Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated engineer to support project delivery on-site. You will assist the Project Manager, plan schedules, forecast activities, and coordinate technical and management aspects of construction projects.

You will manage project execution daily, attend site meetings, monitor progress, and prepare monthly status reports and change orders. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil & Structural / Construction Management / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Prior 5 years working experience in construction industry.
• Experience in Additions & Alterations (A&A) works in commercial building upgrading project.
• Comprehension for written or verbal graphic instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Relevant on-site working experience.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to write / understand mechanical & electrical engineering reports.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in site supervision.
• Plan, schedule, forecast, conduct and coordinate the technical and management aspects of projects.
• Manage and plan the construction project.
• Assist in project tendering and budget for the project within an estimated cost.
• Control the cost of materials and labor.
• Coordinate and check engineering deliverables.
• Attend site meetings, inspections and monitor project progress.
• Liaise and coordinate with all parties involved in projects such as consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, local authorities, environmental agencies and federal entities.
• Prepare monthly project status reports and change orders.
• Manage the daily operation of project execution.
