Job summary

IMD CONTRACTORS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a capable Project Engineer to manage technical and documentation aspects of construction projects. You will liaise with clients, consultants and site teams to ensure timely submissions and smooth progress.

The ideal candidate holds a BCA-recognized degree in Architecture, Building, Civil/Structural Engineering or an equivalent field, with 2–3 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome; AutoCAD proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• BCA-recognized degree in architecture/building/civil or structural engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant construction project experience.
• Fresh degree holders are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication across levels and situations.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Handle technical and documentation requirements of projects in Singapore with in-depth understanding.
• Communicate with clients and consultants during all project stages.
• Prepare, follow up and update documents for submission to clients and consultants.
• Plan and deploy manpower for assigned projects to ensure on-schedule execution.
• Conduct site tests and maintain relevant records and updates.
• Liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers or vendors for materials/equipment.
• Attend regular site meetings and maintain good communication at all levels.
