Job summary

SINGAPORE BUILDER'S M&E - LANDSCAPE & METAL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Civil Engineer to plan, design and supervise civil and structural construction works, and to prepare drawings and technical documents.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and site teams to ensure smooth project execution, monitor progress and prepare reports. Candidates should have a degree/diploma in civil engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant civil/construction engineering experience.
• Experience in site supervision and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction regulations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and supervise civil and structural construction works.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure works are completed according to plans and schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works meet quality standards.
• Supervise site activities and provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Check dimensions, levels, materials and workmanship for design compliance.
• Identify technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with Construction Manager/Project Manager on planning and execution.
• Monitor project costs, materials and resources where required.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore construction standards and workplace safety requirements.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection records and other engineering documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate technical matters with relevant parties.
