Kim Hua Construction Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based firm delivering high-quality building and infrastructure projects. We are seeking a meticulous C&S Coordinator to drive engineering coordination workflows and contribute to project success.

The role covers site supervision, drawing review, method statement management, quality control, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on timely issue resolution and accurate reporting. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of C&S engineering or structural coordination experience in construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise civil and structural works directly at the site in line with approved plans, specs and schedules.
• Liaise with consultants, architects and subcontractors to resolve clashes and site issues promptly.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning phases.
• Review drawings, method statements, and schedules to ensure buildability before execution.
• Assist in permits, inspections and documentation for all civil and structural works.
• Monitor progress and report to the Project Manager regularly.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated C&S Coordinator to drive our engineering coordination workflows and contribute to our project success.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate and supervise civil and structural works directly at the site to ensure they are carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Liaise proactively with consultants, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical clashes and site issues swiftly.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

Drawing Review & Method Statement Management

• Review structural and architectural drawings, method statements, and work schedules to ensure buildability and clarity prior to execution.
• Assist in managing permits, official inspections, and documentation for all civil and structural works.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular, accurate updates to the Project Manager.

Quality Control, Safety & Regulatory Compliance

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship consistently meets regulatory and project quality requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with building codes, local authorities' requirements, and workplace safety (WSH) standards across all site operations.

Meetings, Reporting & Project Documentation

• Attend project meetings, technical discussions, and site walks during the construction phase (including taking meeting minutes when necessary).
• Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, project documentation, records, and handover deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations across all site activities.

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant C&S engineering or structural coordination experience within construction projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of structural specifications, design principles, construction methods, and Singapore statutory requirements/authority processes.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently with a positive attitude.
• Availability: Preference will be given to candidates who can commence immediately.
