Job summary

SUNCITY CONTRACTS PTE LTD is seeking a Site Execution & Coordination professional to supervise Civil & Structural site activities in Singapore. The role involves reviewing drawings and coordinating with architectural and M&E drawings to prevent clashes, plus managing submittals and method statements from subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years hands-on structural engineering and site coordination experience with a Building Construction Main Contractor in Singapore.

Job description

1. Site Execution & Technical Coordination

• Supervise and coordinate all Civil & Structural (C&S) site activities.

• Review structural drawings, specifications, and overlay plans with architectural and M&E drawings to identify structural design clashes early and avoid abortive site works.

• Manage and review technical submittals, structural shop drawings and method statements from trade subcontractors.

• Resolve on-site engineering and structural issues promptly.

2. Quality Control, CONQUAS & ISO Compliance

• Inspect structural rebar arrangements, formwork alignment, concrete pour activities, and pre-stressing/post-tensioning works to ensure compliance with approved structural drawings and specifications.

• Implement structural quality control processes in alignment with BCA CONQUAS assessment standards and Quality Mark (QM) benchmarks.

• Ensure all C&S site activities strictly comply with ISO 9001(Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management) frameworks.

• Prepare pre-joint inspections, manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and enforce Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with subcontractors to maintain audit readiness.

3. Authority Compliance & Project Closeout

• Coordinate site inspections with the Resident Engineer (RE) / Resident Technical Officer (RTO), Qualified Person Supervision (QPS), and relevant authorities (BCA, LTA, PUB, MOM).

• Assist the Project Manager in tracking structural progress schedules.

• Support project closeout by preparing structural as-built drawings, structural integrity inspection reports, and handover documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore or BCA.

• Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of hands-on structural engineering and site coordination experience with a Building Construction Main Contractor in Singapore.
