Job summary

P.S.E. ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking an on-site construction supervisor to oversee daily activities, ensure compliance with project specs, and manage labor and safety on civil infrastructure sites.

You will interpret drawings, monitor hazards, coordinate material deliveries, and maintain daily logs to support timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant local experience in civil engineering projects with on-site supervisory experience
• Experience in road construction or civil infrastructure projects
• Safety credentials such as Building Construction Supervisor Safety certification or first aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards
• Monitor workplace hazards and enforce health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE
• Inspect materials and workmanship to verify compliance with engineering and building standards
• Manage on-site laborers and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and productivity
• Track inventory levels, coordinate timely material deliveries, and minimize material waste
• Maintain accurate daily logs, record worker attendance, and provide progress updates to the project manager
• Interpret construction drawings and blueprints to guide work execution and resolve site issues
• Demonstrate leadership by effectively communicating with teams and solving problems to ensure smooth project delivery

• Inspect materials and workmanship to verify compliance with engineering and building standards


• Manage on-site laborers and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and productivity


• Track inventory levels, coordinate timely material deliveries, and implement measures to minimize material waste


• Maintain accurate daily logs, record worker attendance, and provide regular progress updates to the project manager


• Interpret construction drawings and blueprints to guide work execution and resolve site issues


• Demonstrate leadership by effectively communicating with teams and solving problems to ensure smooth project delivery

Required competencies and certifications

• Relevant safety credentials such as Building Construction Supervisor Safety certification or first aid/CPR certification


• Minimum 3 years of relevant local experience in civil engineering projects with proven on-site supervisory experience in road construction or civil infrastructure projects

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• GCE N/O Level or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field


• Class 3 Driving license (preferred to support site mobility)
