Job summary

FENG MING CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead overall site operations and ensure project delivery on time and within budget.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities; review drawings, manage resources, monitor progress, and drive safety and quality standards.

This role requires 8–10 years of civil/construction leadership and strong problem-solving, with excellent communication and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall construction site operations to ensure successful project delivery
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor all construction activities according to project schedule
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications
• Oversee site teams and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution
• Review project drawings, method statements, and work sequences prior to implementation
• Manage manpower, equipment, and material resources efficiently
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports
• Identify project risks, delays, and operational challenges, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and authorities’ requirements
• Ensure quality workmanship and minimize abortive work and material wastage
• Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and inspections with clients, consultants, and authorities
• Resolve technical and operational issues arising on site
• Mentor and guide engineers, supervisors, and site staff
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all site activities and project matters

• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
