Job summary

CHEE YAM CONTRACTOR PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through completion. The role involves overseeing execution, managing stakeholders, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering or Construction Management background with 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and contract administration.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with local authorities' requirements and construction regulations is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Ensure workplace safety, quality standards, and contractual requirements are met.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
