Job summary

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for structural design, review and technical control for building and renovation projects.
• Handle and coordinate fire-related structural requirements and liaise with SCDF to ensure compliance with Fire Code.
• Perform PE duties, including endorsement and signing of structural drawings and calculations.
• Lead site safety management, conduct safety training, toolbox meetings and safety briefings in compliance with WSH requirements.
• Supervise site safety and quality in accordance with BCA and MOM regulations.
• Manage and coordinate authority and building management submissions for renovation / A&A projects (URA, BCA, SCDF, NEA, Town Council, MCST).
• Prepare and submit Permit to Work, Risk Assessment, Method Statements, insurance and other required documents.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, fire consultants, building management and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Singapore – mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of building structures (RC / steel).
• Experience in fire-related structural design and SCDF submissions.
• Familiar with WSH regulations, site safety management and training.
• Hands‑on experience in Singapore renovation projects and authority / MCST submissions.
• Able to manage projects independently with strong coordination skills.
