Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of proven experience delivering infrastructural, building, or industrial projects, preferably in Singapore.
• Degree recognized by the PE Board is advantageous.
• Conversant with Eurocode design standards.

• Supervise drafters to produce practical and cost-effective engineering drawings.

Job Summary

Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver compliant, practical, and efficient civil and structural designs. Oversee project design deliverables, coordinate with stakeholders, and resolve technical issues to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical guidance to a team of engineers to achieve project objectives
• Perform engineering analysis and prepare calculations that comply with Project Design Criteria, codes of practice, and company standards
• Supervise drafters to produce practical and cost-effective engineering drawings aligned with project requirements
• Prepare and review project design deliverables including layout drawings, detail drawings, schedules, specifications, data sheets, calculations, requisitions, and technical tender evaluations following company procedures and standards
• Ensure technical integrity and compliance of all design deliverables before formal document issuance
• Verify completion of document checking and design verification tasks per company and project procedures
• Ensure all designs conform to customer requirements and project specifications
• Liaise and coordinate with other consultants to align discipline activities and achieve overall project design goals efficiently
• Attend project meetings and prepare accurate minutes to document discussions and action items
• Resolve technical problems on site by direct liaison with the Project Engineer (PE)
• Prepare tender specifications and assist the team in selecting competent vendors
• Manage site supervisors (RE/RTO) to support effective project execution
• Support supervisors in the daily management and execution of projects
• Engage in continuous learning and development to maintain and enhance technical competencies

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a reputed university
• Degree recognized by the PE Board is advantageous
• 5 to 8 years of proven experience delivering infrastructural, building, or industrial projects, preferably in Singapore
• Conversant with Eurocode design standards
• Knowledge of BIM modelling is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Proficient written communication skills
