Job summary

ea recruitment pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager for a well-established infrastructure pipeline construction company in Singapore.

You will lead civil/infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, developing schedules, methods, and resource plans, and ensuring timely submissions of shop drawings, risk assessments, and progress reports. The role covers site and construction management, contract and commercial oversight, and stakeholder coordination with clients,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project work schedules, method statements, and resource planning.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures where required.
• Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
• Supervise site operations and coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
• Oversee construction activities including structural, drainage, sewerage, utility, and associated civil works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Review contracts, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and variation claims.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and certify work progress payments.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on contractual matters.
• Act as the main point of contact between client, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Attend site meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings.
• Ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of technical and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and project records.
• Ensure all works comply with local regulatory authorities and statutory requirements.
