Job summary

CHINA INTERNATIONAL WATER & ELECTRIC CORPORATION (S) PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Civil & Structural engineer to design and coordinate C&S projects. You will perform structural analysis and design for buildings and other structures per project requirements.

You will liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet specifications and schedules. A Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Eng and 4–5 years’ consultancy experience, plus knowledge of Singapore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural consultancy
• Good knowledge of Singapore Building Control Acts, Regulations and Codes of Practice
• Proficiency in structural engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, TEKLA, ETABS, RAPT

Job description

• Design and coordinate assigned Civil & Structural (C&S) engineering projects.
• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and other structures in accordance with project requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Manage and coordinate C&S works to ensure compliance with tender specifications, authority submissions, and construction schedules.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and other project documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable regulations, codes, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Preferably 4–5 years of relevant working experience in a Civil & Structural consultancy firm.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Building Control Acts and Regulations, Singapore Codes of Practice, and Eurocodes.
• Proficient in structural engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, TEKLA, ETABS, RAPT, and other relevant design tools.
