Job summary

JE Human Resources Pte Ltd is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to assist in planning and execution of civil projects at our Woodland site.

You will report to the Project Manager and Senior Engineers, coordinate site activities, review drawings, and liaise with clients and subcontractors while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Training will be provided; candidates eager to learn and grow in foundation, piling, and geotechnical works are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Internship or project experience is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Civil Engineer （Junior)

Salary: $3,000 - $4,000 (Negotiable)

Working Location: Woodland

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8.00am – 5.00pm (6 days work per week)

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Senior Engineers in the planning and execution of civil engineering projects.

• Coordinate and monitor site activities to ensure work progresses according to schedule.

• Attend site inspections and site meetings.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project matters.

• Prepare project reports, technical submissions, and documentation.

• Review engineering drawings and specifications.

• Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance at site.

• Assist in resolving technical and operational issues during project execution.

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project requirements and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline.

• Candidates with relevant internship or project experience will have an added advantage.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willing to work on construction/project sites.

• Positive attitude, willing to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Knowledge of piling, foundation, geotechnical, or construction works.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other engineering software.
