Job summary

ZGG PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Civil/Mechanical Engineer to supervise construction sites in Singapore. The role focuses on ensuring safety regulations, maintaining schedules and quality, and coordinating with workers and other contractors onsite.

The ideal candidate reads detailed drawings, reports progress, and prepares QA/QC documentation while addressing on-site technical issues and providing improvement suggestions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Certificate in Building Construction Supervisor Safety is an advantage.
• Fresh engineers are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervise projects on site, ensuring safety regulations, work schedule, progress and quality.
• Monitor and report work progress.
• Coordinate with workers and other contractors on site.
• Resolve technical and engineering problems on site.
• Provide technical advice and suggestions for project improvement.

Job Scope

• Supervise projects onsite ensuring work adhere to safety regulations, work schedule and progress and quality.
• Monitoring and reporting of work progress.
• Able to coordinate with workers and other Contractors on site.
• Ability to resolve technical and engineering problems.
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on projects.
• Excellent at reading and understanding construction detail, plan and elevation drawings
• Ensure all project documentation (progress reports, progress claims, daily reports, site diary, QA/QC report etc.) are submitted and follow up to ensure collection of approved documents in a timely manner.
• Any Ad-hoc duties assigned.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
• Candidate to possess relevant certificates and Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course Certificates is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Good communication, self -initiative and interpersonal skill.
• Fresh Engineer are welcomed to apply.
• Candidates with experience will be considered for senior role.
