Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil) to oversee site activities across Islandwide Singapore projects.

The role involves interpreting ISO requirements, drawings, contracts, and coordinating with consultants to resolve technical issues before construction. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Civil & Structural Engineering with 2–5 years in construction and preferably HDB exposure.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of construction industry experience.
• Preferably with HDB experience.

Responsibilities

• Study and fully understand ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements; work with consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.
• Submit to superior for feedback on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.
• Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements, with excellent housekeeping as a key focus.
• For quality management, implement quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.
• Responsible for cost management so that materials for temporary and permanent works are not damaged and wastage is controlled within tolerance; avoid rework or abortive work with time and cost impacts.
• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM necessary for project execution.

Position: Project Engineer (Civil)

Working Hours (HQ office): Monday to Friday (8.00am – 5.45pm)

Location: Islandwide Singapore depend on the project location – Can be Central (Harbourfront/River Valley) or East (Bedok)

Budget: $4,000 - $6,500

Job Description

• Study and fully understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements. Work with the consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.
• Submit to superior for feedback and concurrence on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.
• Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements. Managing the works with excellent housekeeping is a key focus.
• For quality management, the engineer is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.
• Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.
• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.
