Job summary

TÜV SÜD PSB Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Civil Testing Engineer to perform on-site destructive and non-destructive tests for civil projects. You will design test fixtures, develop procedures, and prepare comprehensive reports while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role involves coordinating with clients, vendors and sub-contractors, reviewing SOPs and risk assessments, and maintaining test equipment on site. Onsite, full-time employment, based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience in construction, soil investigation, instrumentation or testing industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and customized procedures, and prepare reports.
• Design and set-up test fixtures for customized test procedures.
• Review SOPs, risk assessments and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors and other departments to resolve engineering issues or testing requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Key Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 2 years of working experience in construction, soilinvestigation, instrumentation or testing industries
• Possess Class 3 or higher Singapore driver license
• Familiarity to ISO 9001 and 17025 standards would be an added advantage
• Result and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills
• A proactive team player but with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
• Enthusiastic and resourceful with a “can-do” attitude
