Job summary

SAFE CORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute to land development, road infrastructure, and high-density retail projects, by designing, reviewing, and managing civil works.

You will prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project specifications, monitor safety compliance, and coordinate contractors, with a focus on solving site issues and implementing new technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Building is required.
• Experience in building-related works incl. civil engineering, structural, architectural, building repair, carpentry, renovation, plumbing works.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking civil engineering design, review, and project management for land development, road infrastructure, high-density retail, and other civil projects.
• Collaborating with engineers and workers to design, develop, test, and improve products and processes.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project specifications.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Manage and coordinate the work of contractors and other personnel involved in civil projects.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and materials for civil engineering projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Undertaking civil engineering design, review, and project management for a wide range of projects, including land development, road infrastructure, high-density retail, and other civil infrastructure Providing assistance to different staff or engineering teams.
• Collaborating with other engineers and workers to design, develop, test, and improve products and engineering processes.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project specifications
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Manage and coordinate the work of contractors and other personnel involved in civil engineering projects
• Research and evaluate new technologies and materials for civil engineering projects

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Building
• Good knowledge and experience in building-related works such as civil engineering, structural, architectural, building repair, carpentry, partition, renovation, plumbing works, etc
• Experience in the construction of building projects, including M&E facilities installation and maintenance regime, is preferred
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have initiative and drive to resolve site issues to achieve project success
• Proficient in MS Work & Excel and drafting of letter
