Job summary

AKV CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an innovative Civil Engineer to design, develop and construct a wide range of projects from conception through to completion. You will contribute to shaping the built environment in a fast-growing industry.

The role involves on-site investigations, feasibility studies, risk assessment, budget management and coordinating with stakeholders. Strong design software skills (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and a professional engineer license are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in civil engineering.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control and regulatory approvals.
• Project management and supervision experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional engineer license.
• BS/MA in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee civil construction projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data from maps, reports and drawings.
• Prepare feasibility studies and blueprints meeting specifications.
• Assess risks, materials and costs for projects.
• Provide engineering advice and resolve issues.
• Mentor staff and liaise with stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and compile project status reports.
• Ensure compliance with permits and safety regulations.
• Deliver technical documentation as required.

We are looking for an innovative Civil Engineer to design, develop and construct a huge range of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion. Responsibilities

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
