Job summary

ED. ZUBLIN AG, SINGAPORE BRANCH is seeking a lead construction manager to plan, execute and control civil and underground works, ensuring delivery on budget and programme.

You will manage site engineers, supervisors and operational teams to achieve milestones, quality standards and safety targets, while coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces and subcontractors. The role requires liaising with clients and authorities to resolve technical issues and support commercial matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and control of civil and underground construction works, ensuring delivery within budget and programme.
• Manage site engineers, supervisors and operational teams to achieve project milestones, quality standards and safety targets.
• Oversee construction methodologies, work sequencing, temporary works coordination and resource planning for complex civil engineering activities.
• Develop and monitor construction programmes and short-term look-ahead plans, resolving technical and site constraints.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements and project quality, safety and environmental plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors and multidisciplinary interfaces, including structural, geotechnical and tunnelling works, where applicable.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues and maintain effective working relationships.
• Support the commercial team with progress assessments, variations, claims and other contractual matters.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
