Job summary

Singapore Family Office seeks a seasoned Chief Investment Officer to lead global investment operations, overseeing a diversified portfolio including public markets, private equity, venture capital, and real assets. The role serves as a strategic partner to the Principal with a hands-on mandate.

The CIO will drive investment strategy, manager selection, risk governance, and corporate oversight of portfolio companies, while mentoring the investment team and coordinating with external advisers.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in investment management (family office, endowment, or institutional settings).
• Proven multi-asset experience and deep understanding of public and private markets.
• Board-level investment experience advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Investment strategy: develop and execute investment strategy aligned with Principal objectives, manage multi-asset portfolios, and oversee capital allocation decisions.
• Manager selection: identify, evaluate, and monitor external fund managers and investment partners globally, and negotiate terms.
• Risk management: establish governance frameworks and ensure disciplined capital preservation and downside protection strategies.
• Corporate oversight: represent the office at board level of portfolio companies and guide operating businesses.
• Market research: maintain conviction-led views on macro trends and identify emerging investment opportunities.
• Leadership: mentor the internal investment team and coordinate with external advisers.
