Job summary

Search Staffing Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior/Principal Engineer for Product Engineering (Chip-owner) to own semiconductor products from development to mass production. Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IC Design, or a related field with 5+ years semiconductor experience for Senior Engineer or 8 years for Principal Engineer.
• Semiconductor product ownership from development through mass production, preferably in a fabless company with external foundries/OSAT partners.
• Experience analysing wafer sort, assembly, and final test data to identify yield issues and root causes; familiarity with ATE testing and quality tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to collaborate with global design, test, quality, reliability, foundry and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of semiconductor products from development through qualification, production launch, and mass production.
• Analyse manufacturing and test data to identify yield issues and drive improvements.
• Investigate product issues with cross-functional teams to determine if a release is appropriate or requires further testing.
• Collaborate with test engineering to optimise ATE testing, defect detection, and manufacturing efficiency.
