Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IC Design, or a related field with 5+ years semiconductor experience for Senior Engineer or 8 years for Principal Engineer.
• Semiconductor product ownership from development through mass production, preferably in a fabless company with external foundries/OSAT partners.
• Experience analysing wafer sort, assembly, and final test data to identify yield issues and root causes; familiarity with ATE testing and quality tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to collaborate with global design, test, quality, reliability, foundry and manufacturing teams.

Responsabilités

Senior/ Principal Engineer, Product Engineering (Chip-owner)

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Product Engineer to take ownership of semiconductor products from development to mass production. You will work with global engineering and manufacturing teams to solve technical issues, improve product yield and quality, and ensure chips meet performance and reliability standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on problem-solving and making a direct impact on product performance and manufacturing success.
• Product Development &Production - Take ownership of semiconductor products from development and testing through qualification, production launch, and massproduction.
• Yield Improvement &Failure Analysis - Analyse manufacturing and test data from wafer fabrication through assembly and final testing to identify failures, understand yield losses, and drive improvements.
• Product Quality &ProblemSolving - Investigate product issues, work with relevant teams to identify root causes, and recommend whether affected products can be released, need further testing, or should be rejected.
• ATE Test Optimisation - Work with test engineering teams to improve chip testing, strengthen defect detection, reduce test time, and improve manufacturing efficiency. Experience with Advantest platforms is an advantage.
• Cross-FunctionalCollaboration - Work closely with design, test, quality, reliability, foundry, and manufacturing partners to resolve technical issues, improve product performance, support customer needs, and bring new products into production.

Job Requirements

• Degree or post graduate qualification in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, IC Design, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant semiconductor experience for Senior Engineer or 8 years for Principal Engineer.
• Semiconductor ProductOwnership - Experience managing semiconductor products from development through mass production, preferably in a fabless semiconductor company working with external foundries and OSAT partners.
• Yield &Failure Analysis- Experience analysing wafer sort, assembly, and final test data to identify yield issues, correlate failures across manufacturing stages, and determine root causes.
• Test &Quality Knowledge- Familiarity with ATE testing, semiconductor manufacturing, and productreliability. Experience with Advantest, automotive qualification (AEC-Q100), orquality tools such as 8D, FMEA, APQP, and PPAP is an advantage.
• Problem-Solving &Teamwork - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, sound technical judgement, and the ability to work independently and collaborate with global engineering and manufacturing teams.
