Job summary

MM2 Studios Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Story Development Manager to lead Chinese-language content development. You will bridge concept and greenlight, working with writers, directors, and producers to refine scripts and prepare compelling production packages.

You'll leverage market insights to tailor stories for Gen Z and millennial Chinese audiences across SEA, Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, ensuring creative integrity and business viability.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Mandarin; able to provide Mandarin feedback and English summaries.
• Able to read Chinese scripts and translate treatment notes into English.
• Strong grasp of script structure and visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop Chinese-language scripts and IPs from concept to greenlight.
• Collaborate with writers, directors, and producers to refine scripts and packages.
• Lead market and cultural strategy for target audiences in China and SEA.
• Coordinate with production and post teams to ensure alignment with development vision.
