Job summary

J.P. Morgan in APAC Private Banking focuses on the China market, delivering top-tier advice and solutions to Ultra High Net Worth clients and families.

You will support Bankers and Investors in day-to-day operations, while maintaining confidentiality and providing proactive service across asset classes. You will work closely with clients, onboarding teams and portfolio managers, developing in-depth product knowledge and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of client service and/or relationship manager support experience in Private Bank, with background in brokerage and/or trading.
• Fluent written and spoken Business Mandarin is essential to support Chinese speaking clients from China.
• Strong knowledge of the Private Bank business, well‑versed across all asset classes and investment products.
• Dynamic and independent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver exceptional client services.
• Ability to work under tight market deadlines and accuracy in executing clients' directed orders.
• Absolute discretion with confidential matters.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with risk and escalation awareness.
• CACS certified is essential for performing duties and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to Advisors and wider integrated team.
• Help manage account opening / onboarding process with onboarding officer as subject matter expert for both prospects and existing clients.
• Support Bankers with updating account documentation, authorities & Sig Lists and managing client Periodic Review process.
• Own the full trading life-cycle, from pre-trade checks to booking and post-trade checks and reporting details to Clients.
• Develop deep knowledge of all asset classes and products offered by the Private Bank.
• Act as primary contact with external clients for day-to-day account administration and servicing.
• Partner with Client Service team to manage Accounts, Credit facilities and related activities.
• Open new accounts as instructed by clients and advisors with required documentation.
