Job summary

BIT Group seeks a Head of Operational Risk to design and lead a comprehensive risk management framework spanning operational, technology and model risks. You will own governance, disease controls, and disaster recovery, reporting to the MPI CEO with ties to the Group CCO.

You will drive KRIs, risk assessments and regulatory examinations, ensuring effective risk governance across multiple jurisdictions and the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive risk management experience in financial services, fintech, or digital assets environments.
• Experience developing or significantly enhancing risk management framework and policies.
• Experience operating in a regulated financial institution with MAS exposure is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of technology and cyber risk, model risk management, and AI/automation risks.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously develop EWRA framework across all business lines and jurisdictions.
• Establish a robust risk appetite and embed it into decision-making.
• Develop and maintain risk policies including BCM, third-party risk, and technology risk.
• Lead risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and KRIs with executive visibility.
• Oversee incident management, loss data, RCA, and remediation.
• Drive regulatory engagement, board reporting, and governance improvements.
