Job summary

The Managing Director, Fintech & Infrastructure will shape the strategy for the Group’s digital lending and fintech initiatives, overseeing product development, partnerships and regulatory governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior management roles.
• Experience building or scaling digital lending/online loan platforms.
• Strong understanding of the digital lending lifecycle: acquisition, onboarding, KYC, credit assessment, underwriting, decisioning, disbursement, collections.
• Experience with AI, data analytics, automation and tech-enabled credit decisioning.
• Experience working with banks, fintechs, payment providers, credit bureaus and technology partners.
• Good understanding of regulatory, risk and governance in digital financial services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute the strategy for the Group’s digital lending and fintech platform, identifying opportunities across markets, customer segments and products.
• Digital Lending & Product: Build and launch new digital lending products and improve the end-to-end customer journey, from acquisition and onboarding through credit assessment, approval, disbursement and servicing.
• Technology & Innovation: Drive the use of AI, data analytics, automation, alternative data and digital technologies to improve credit decisioning, customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Commercial Growth: Identify new revenue opportunities, business models and distribution channels, and develop strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, payment providers, credit bureaus and technology companies.
• Operations & Performance: Establish scalable processes and monitor commercial and operational KPIs to drive growth, efficiency and profitability.
• Regulatory & Governance: Ensure products and operations comply with applicable financial-services, lending, data protection and regulatory requirements.
• Senior Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior management and business leaders to turn new ideas into commercially viable products and present strategic opportunities and investment proposals to leadership.

SKILLS

We are looking for a senior leader with a strong track record in digital lending, fintech, digital banking or financial technology, ideally with:

• 10+ years of experience in senior management roles.
• Proven experience building or scaling digital lending, online loan or financial-services platforms.
• Strong understanding of the digital lending lifecycle, including customer acquisition, onboarding, KYC, credit assessment, underwriting, decisioning, disbursement and collections.
• Experience with AI, data analytics, automation and technology-enabled credit decisioning.
• Experience working with banks, fintechs, payment providers, credit bureaus and technology partners.
• Good understanding of regulatory, risk and governance requirements in digital financial services.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and strategic partnership skills.

Experience solely in general IT, digital transformation, fintech strategy, or traditional banking, without direct digital lending platform experience, will not meet the requirements for this position.
