Job summary

ALTAIRE GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is building its finance organization in Singapore, establishing the complete finance, accounting, internal control and management reporting framework from the ground up.

The role leads budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning and working-capital management, with financial modelling for machinery trading, pricing and margins. You will establish robust management reporting and KPI dashboards, oversee month-end/year-end closing, corporate tax and statutory compliance in

Job description

• Establish the company's finance, accounting, internal control and management reporting framework from the ground up.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, working-capital management and financial performance analysis.
• Develop financial models for machinery trading, commission-based transactions, project profitability, pricing and margin analysis.
• Establish management reporting and KPI dashboards to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Oversee accounting, month-end and year-end closing, financial statements, corporate tax and statutory compliance in Singapore.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory-related transactions and fixed-asset/capital expenditure controls where applicable.
• Develop appropriate costing methodologies for equipment, refurbishment, logistics and project-related expenditure.
• Provide financial analysis for international machinery transactions, including commercial terms, supplier/customer payment structures, foreign-currency exposure and transaction profitability.
• Establish appropriate financial processes and controls as the company scales its operations.
• Lead or support the implementation and integration of accounting/ERP systems, including financial master data, reporting structures and operational data interfaces.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, corporate secretaries, tax advisers, banks and other professional service providers.
• Partner closely with management on business planning, investment evaluation, commercial risk and regional expansion.
• Provide finance business-partner support to commercial, procurement and operational functions, translating financial information into practical business recommendations.
