Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) in Singapore seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the on‑site engineering team for critical facilities under an IFM contract for a banking client. The role ensures safe, efficient operation of ACMV, BMS, electrical and plumbing systems, and on‑site staff performance.

You will own the CMMS, oversee preventive maintenance, and drive compliance, safety, and continuous improvement while partnering with client facilities and operations managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of progressive facilities management or critical environment operations experience.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting of ACMV, chiller plants, cooling towers, BMS, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of critical hard services infrastructure in banking environments.
• Own the CMMS on site (Maximo/Corrigo/Planon) and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are correctly configured.
• Supervise engineers, technicians and subcontractors; roster for 24/7 coverage and maintain safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with statutory inspections, licensing, and risk management for all systems.
• Engage with the client and stakeholders, report performance against SLAs and KPIs.
