bnm trading pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a Chief Cook (Catering) with expertise in Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine to lead the kitchen team and deliver high-quality meals.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore.

Formación

• Proven experience as Chief Cook or Head Cook.
• Extensive knowledge of Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients and menu prep.
• Good leadership and teamwork skills.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations.
• 4–5 years of experience.

Responsabilidades

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Chief Cook (Catering)with expertise in preparing delicious and visually appealing dishes, particularly Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook meals according to daily menu and production schedule.
• Ensure that all meals are prepared in the required quantities.
• Ensure that all meals are prepared in accordance with company standards and requirements.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and orderly kitchen environment at all times.
• Oversee and carry out kitchen duties, including food preparation and other tasks required for opening and closing shifts.
• Apply knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques to ensure food quality and consistency.
• Work efficiently under pressure while meeting daily production deadlines.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Communicate clearly and multitask effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and high kitchen performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chief Cook, Head Cook, or in a similar kitchen role
• Extensive knowledge and experience in preparing Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and menu preparation
• Good communication and leadership skills to effectively lead and work within a team
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
• At least 4-5 years of experience
