Job summary

dLocal Singapore is seeking the Head of Compliance & MLRO to assume full regulatory accountability for the local entity. You will shape the compliance strategy, oversee AML/CFT controls, and act as the point of contact with MAS and the Board.

You will lead engagements with regional and global Compliance, Legal, Risk and Technology leadership, ensuring responsible scaling of the licensed payments business while stopping launches when standards are not met.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compliance leadership in payments, banking or fintech.
• Full accountability for a MAS-regulated entity.
• End-to-end ownership of compliance and financial-crime controls.
• Deep knowledge of Payment Services Act, MAS Notices and AML/CFT requirements.
• Experience as Compliance Officer and/or MLRO with MAS engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own the Singapore compliance strategy and risk-based framework.
• Interpret laws; translate into policy, controls and accountabilities.
• Manage regulatory obligations inventory, licence perimeter and change programme.
• Approve implementation plans and sign off readiness for launches.
• Hold final authority on new products and high-risk changes.
• Direct AML/CFT/CPF programme, including STR decisions.
• Oversee Group AML operations with independent accountability.
• Set risk appetite for onboarding and sanctions exposure.
• Lead MAS relationship, examinations and submissions.
• Report to Board on risk, changes and breaches.
