Payful is seeking a Head of Compliance to lead the MPI licence application with MAS and to build the compliance framework from the ground up. The role requires hands-on leadership and regulatory engagement.

As MLRO upon licensing, you will oversee AML/CFT controls, monitor transactions, and train staff while coordinating with senior management to navigate PS Act and PSN01 requirements.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with the payments/fintech industry and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of the MAS Payment Services Act and PSN01.
• Hands-on experience preparing and submitting an MPI licence application to MAS.
• Regulatory engagement experience with MAS or equivalent authorities.
• Fundamental knowledge of AML/CFT, technology risk management, risk and governance.
• Strong English communication skills; proficiency in Chinese are advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preparation and submission of the MPI licence application to MAS, including compliance documentation, policies and responses to MAS queries.
• Primary contact for requests by MAS and/or other relevant authorities throughout the application process and beyond.
• Build and implement the compliance framework to meet PS Act, MAS PSN01 and other laws.
• Act as designated MLRO upon licensing; oversee SAR monitoring and timely filing of STRs.
• Work with HO and local management to identify and manage regulatory risk.
• Maintain open lines of communication with decision makers and stakeholders on regulatory changes.
• Create and implement organizational policies, standards and procedures, with adequate risk controls and training.
