Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Science or related field.
• Understanding of the Singapore Secondary Chemistry syllabus, including O-Level content.
• Educated within the Singapore education system.
• Ability to work at least one weekend per week.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Secondary Chemistry lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus to enhance student understanding and academic performance.
• Provide individualized support to students to address learning gaps and strengthen math skills.
• Monitor and track student progress regularly and communicate feedback effectively to parents.
• Develop and refine teaching materials, worksheets, and lesson plans to meet diverse student needs.
• Create and maintain a positive, disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Participate actively in trainings, meetings, and team development sessions to improve teaching effectiveness.
• Support centre initiatives including academic programs and marketing activities to contribute to centre growth.
• Manage classroom dynamics and student behavior to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
• Travel to the East region as required and work at least one weekend per week to meet operational needs.
