Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore’s West region is seeking a Chemist (Polymer) to join our R&D team. You will engage in analysis, compounding, moulding, and evaluating SBC, MS and IP resins to support product development and process optimization.

You will provide technical support to plants, collect data, and prepare technical documents while visiting customers to resolve issues and ensure quality. A degree in Chemistry with 1–2 years lab experience and a willingness to learn are essential; we value

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or equivalent
• 1–2 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Knowledge in organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, polymer chemistry, chemical engineering, plastic moulding
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• R&D: Analysis, compounding, moulding, evaluation of SBC, MS and IP resins
• Technical support: Plant support, collection of technical data and creation of documents
• Visiting customers: Technical support and solving technical issues
• Occupational safety and health activities in the workplace: Preparation of RA, WI documents and participation in safety activities

Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Chemistry or equivalent discipline
• Min. 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Possess knowledge or experience in organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, polymer chemistry, chemical engineering, plastic moulding)
• Positive attitude and willing to learn
