Job summary

Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore) seeks a Senior Executive to support daily operations and safety of the Chemical Store at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB). The role supports the Assistant Manager in meeting high-volume needs of students, researchers and faculty.

Responsibilities include bulk chemical purchases, forecasting, invoicing, waste disposal, and inventory system management, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics/warehouse management or a science-related field.
• 1–3 years in educational/logistics/warehouse environments preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, waste management and basic finance.
• Experience with SAP system is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze data for cost, impact, risk and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Handle bulk chemical purchases, forecast, and manage deliveries.
• Monitor stock, process monthly invoicing, and intra-billings.
• Coordinate chemical waste disposal and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain CBC Store Online Inventory System and perform cycle counts.
• Negotiate with suppliers for bulk purchasing and cost savings.
• Assist in ad-hoc duties as required by the reporting manager.
