Job summary

Alcon Singapore Manufacturing Pte Ltd is seeking a Chemical Production Technician II in the Tuas Plant. You will handle routine and non-routine chemical formulation processes, including lens formulation materials and in-process solutions, while working within GMP and GxP guidelines.

The role emphasizes following SOPs, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting efficiency improvements, and collaborating on team projects to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• At least NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical and Life Sciences or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing environments, GMP/GDP manufacturing or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Handle technical tasks to support operations and improve efficiency.
• Work with saline solutions and mix components for various formulations.
• Perform maintenance on pumps, homogenizers, filter presses and tablet presses.
• Follow SOPs to meet GMP standards and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with GxP by inspecting products and addressing deviations.
• Stay updated with field advances and apply problem-solving to refine solutions.
• Contribute to process improvement projects and procedures.
• Monitor quality using statistical process or other controls.
