Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is hiring a hands-on Operations Technician to participate in plant operations, monitor processing parameters, and assist trouble-shooting. You will prepare solutions and equipment for production and stage components for autoclaving and washing.

The role requires 0–2 years of biotech/pharma experience, a relevant diploma, and knowledge of GMP/EHS. You may support 24/7 operations and continuous improvement initiatives while interacting with inspectors and following procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or Bio-processing disciplines.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industries.
• Demonstrate commitment to cGMP, EHS compliance aspects of clean-room plant operation.
• Knowledge of plant and unit operations (autoclave, parts washers, process equipment).
• Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV, LIMS or TrackWise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on execution of plant operations and assist troubleshooting.
• Monitor processing parameters for atypical trends and improvement opportunities.
• Perform solution and equipment preparation.
• Stage components for autoclaving and washing.
• Support in-process testing of production samples; instrument experience is a plus.
• Actively support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Safety audits and adhere to EHS and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to written procedures and report malfunctions.
• Interpret and apply GMP knowledge to documentation.
• Organize work to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Understand, apply and evaluate basic chemistry, biology and physical principles.
