Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD on Jurong Island is seeking a Chemical Process Technician to operate production systems, monitor process conditions, and support loading/unloading activities. The role involves handling solutions, maintaining equipment, and assisting with repairs as part of a hands-on plant operations team.

The ideal candidate holds a NITEC or Diploma in Engineering / Chemical Process Technology and has experience in chemical manufacturing or related sectors.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Engineering / Chemical Process Technology is required.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, oil & gas or storage terminals is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a 12-hour rotating shift environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment within production systems and monitor process conditions.
• Prepare solutions and monitor measuring instruments and equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading operations.
• Carry out cleaning, maintenance and minor repair works.
• Support the maintenance team during plant repair activities.
• Participate in emergency response activities.
• Ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
