Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operator/Technician to support plant operations in a GMP-regulated environment in Singapore. You will assist Manufacturing Associates in troubleshooting and ensure procedures are followed, with focus on safety and quality.

You will monitor processing parameters, prepare solutions and equipment, stage components for autoclaving and washing, and support in-process testing. Willingness to work shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in chemical, pharmaceutical, life sciences or bio-processing.
• 0–2 years in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industries.
• Commitment to cGMP and EHS in clean-room production.
• Knowledge of plant operations (autoclave, washers) and process equipment; strong problem solving.
• Self-motivated team player with good communication.
• Experience with DeltaV, LIMS, TrackWise is a plus.
• Understanding of basic chemistry, biology and physical principles.
• Willingness to work any shift, including 24/7.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on capability.

Responsibilities

• Involve in hands-on execution of plant operations and assist Manufacturing Associates in trouble-shooting.
• Monitor and analyze processing parameters for atypical trends and improvement opportunities.
• Perform solution and equipment preparation.
• Stage components for autoclaving and washing.
• Support in-process testing of production samples; familiarity with analytical instruments is a plus.
• Actively support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support safety audits and adhere to EHS/regulatory requirements.
• Follow written procedures; report malfunctions.
• Evaluate documentation/data per company and regulatory guidelines.
• Interact with inspectors (internal and external).
• Interpret and apply GMP knowledge; apply basic statistics as needed.
• Organize work, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Understand and apply basic chemistry, biology and physical principles.
