Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Lab Technician to work in a clean-room Fab facility and Chemical Laboratory environment.

You will follow SOPs to analyze routine samples and report to internal customers, using chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, and other analytical techniques. The role involves sample and reagent preparation (VPD, digestion, extraction, dilution), equipment monitoring, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Applied Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent experience.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of analytical equipment and techniques.
Able to troubleshoot basic problems and address root causes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible to work 12 hour shift and rotate day/night shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Work in a clean-room Fab facility and Chemical Laboratory environment per SOPs.
Analyze routine samples and report to internal customers.
Use analytical techniques and instrumentation such as chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, particle sizing, and volume/weight measurement.
Prepare samples and reagents including VPD, digestion, extraction and dilution.
Monitor and sustain laboratory equipment; perform preventative maintenance on tools.
Collaborate with chemists to troubleshoot analytical and equipment issues.
Participate in TPM activities, 6S audits, housekeeping and stock management.
Keep the Laboratory Manager updated on tool and area issues.
