Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Technologist for the Chemical Lab to join a clean-room Fab environment in Singapore. You will perform routine sample analysis, maintain analytical instruments, and prepare reagents in support of internal customers.

The role requires a Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or related field, plus familiarity with analytical equipment and software. Flexibility to rotate shifts and collaborate with chemists is needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent experience in chemical/ pharma related field.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of analytical equipment and software tools.

Responsibilities

• Work in a clean-room Fab facility and Chemical Laboratory environment.
• Follow SOPs to analyze routine samples and report to internal customers.
• Use analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, particle sizing, weight and volume measurements.
• Prepare samples and reagents (VPD, extraction, digestion, dilution).
• Monitor and sustain laboratory equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with chemists to troubleshoot analytical and equipment issues.
• Support TPM activities including 6S, housekeeping, stocking reagents and consumables.
• Keep the Chemistry Laboratory Manager updated on tool/area issues.
