Job summary

RECRUIT EXPERT PTE. LTD. is seeking a laboratory technician in Singapore to operate equipment for failure analysis, material characterization and quality control.

You will perform routine checks, calibrations and measurements per SOPs, ensuring turnaround times and maintaining cleanroom and safety standards. Requirements include a diploma in Physics, Materials Science, or Engineering and at least 2 years in a lab or manufacturing setting, preferably in semiconductor or cleanroom environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in laboratory, testing or manufacturing, within semiconductor or cleanroom environment.
• Knowledge of SEM/EDX or SRP.
• Willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment to support product failure analysis, material characterisation and quality control activities.
• Perform routine equipment checks, SPC monitoring and calibration to maintain measurement accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct laboratory measurements according to established SOPs and meet required turnaround times.
• Follow laboratory, safety and cleanroom procedures while maintaining proper housekeeping standards.
• Support improvement initiatives and other laboratory projects as assigned.
