Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD in Singapore is hiring a Chemistry Lab Technician to join a clean-room Fab facility and Chemical Laboratory environment. You will follow SOPs to analyze routine samples and report results to internal customers, using chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, particle sizing, volume and weight measurements.

Responsibilities include sample prep (VPD, extraction, digestion, serial dilutions), equipment monitoring and preventative maintenance, and

Qualifications

Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Tech, or Materials Science, or equivalent experience.
Basic knowledge of analytical equipment preferred (ICP-MS/ICP-OES).
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Ability to troubleshoot and address root causes.
Strong teamwork and multi-tasking abilities.
Willing to rotate 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Follow SOPs to analyze routine samples and report results to internal customers.
Use analytical techniques and instrumentation such as chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, particle sizing, volume and weight measurements.
Prepare samples (VPD, extraction, digestion, serial dilutions).
Monitor and sustain laboratory equipment; perform TPM and 6S activities.
Collaborate with area chemists to troubleshoot analytical and equipment issues.
Maintain stock of reagents, standards, spare parts and consumables.
Integrate AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and quality.
