Job summary

Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a dedicated restaurant cook to prepare and present dishes to approved recipes and presentation standards.

You will own and manage a kitchen station, support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in coordination, and ensure ingredient quality, storage and mise en place readiness. Maintain clean, safe workstations and communicate effectively during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of professional restaurant kitchen experience.
• Strong cooking, plating and station-management skills.
• Organised team player with strong attention to detail.
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute dishes according to approved recipes and standards.
• Own assigned kitchen station before, during and after service.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in prep and service coordination.
• Maintain ingredient quality, storage and mise en place readiness.
• Keep workstations, utensils and equipment clean and organized.
• Communicate clearly with the team during busy periods.
• Follow hygiene, safety and operational procedures.
