Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen.
• Strong culinary knowledge across cuisines.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations with relevant training.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills under service pressure.
• Leadership and mentoring experience in a kitchen.
• Attention to detail to maintain consistency and quality.
• Experience in inventory management and cost control.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Relevant culinary certifications or qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Manage kitchen workflow to ensure timely service and consistent quality.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and sanitation.
• Order, store and control kitchen inventory with waste reduction.
