Job summary

A leading catering company in Singapore is looking for an experienced Chef to plan, prepare, and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, and good leadership skills. The role requires the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and ensure hygiene and safety compliance. Flexibility to work shifts and weekends is essential.

  • Plan, prepare, and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all dishes are presented in an appealing manner and meet the restaurant’s taste and hygiene standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily operations, including food preparation, portion control, and plating.
  • Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to minimize wastage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas in compliance with NEA and company guidelines.
  • Develop new dishes and seasonal menus to attract customers and enhance profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Assist in training junior cooks and kitchen assistants.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Chef or Cook.
  • Possess strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
