Job summary

THE CHEESE SHOP PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cheese Specialist to join our team in Singapore.

The role involves cutting cheeses to retail sizes, serving customers, and maintaining visual merchandising at our counters in FairPrice locations. On-the-job training is provided, with a focus on excellent service and product knowledge. You will work 10.30am–7pm, 6 days a week including weekends and public holidays, in a SME environment.

Qualifications

• Able to work retail hours (10.30am - 7pm) for 6 days / week including weekends & public holidays.
• Preferable to have at least 3 years of customer service experience.
• Service oriented and passionate.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills in a team environment.
• Creative & innovative thinking; comfortable working in SME environment.
• Singaporean/PR/Malaysian Work Permit are welcome to apply.
• No cheese cutting experience needed; on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the processing, planning and ordering of products.
• Assist in preparing cheeses for retail sales in cheese counter at JEM and Jurong Point; occasional assistance in customer experience.
• Lead and drive in-store activities/events/workshops whenever required.
