Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Test, disassemble, inspect, repair and assemble hydro-mechanical aircraft components following approved manuals and procedures.
  • Read and interpret electrical wiring schematics, hydraulic system schematics and single-line diagrams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement in a regulated aerospace environment.

Job description

Aerospace Component Engineering Services (ACES) Pte Ltd is a joint venture between SIA Engineering Company and Parker Aerospace, specialising in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of hydraulic pumps, actuators, valves, and flight control components for commercial aircraft.

As ACES continues to grow and prepares to support new‑generation aircraft, we are expanding our Operations Team to meet increasing customer demand across the Asia‑Pacific region. We are looking for motivated individuals who are keen to build a long‑term career in aerospace engineering.

You will be part of a skilled technical team working on hydro‑mechanical aircraft components in a regulated aerospace environment. Your responsibilities will include testing, disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly, following approved technical manuals and procedures.

This role is suitable for both candidates without experience who are just starting their aviation journey, and experienced professionals who wish to further develop their technical expertise.

Who We’re Looking For
  • Minimum three (3) GCE “O” / “N” / “A” Level passes, or
  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Certificate / Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline from a recognised institution
  • Candidates with ratings such as C7, C8, C12, or C14 and/or CAAS / EASA Air Legislation papers (L12, L11, M09, M10) will have an advantage
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Comfortable working from component maintenance manuals, technical orders, drawings, and written instructions
  • Practical experience in mechanical or electro‑mechanical component maintenance is preferred but not mandatory
  • Able to interpret electrical wiring schematics, hydraulic system schematics, and single‑line diagrams
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Positive attitude towards workplace safety, 6S practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
