Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Singapore is seeking Aircraft Inspectors (Engines) to perform visual and dimensional inspections of aero engine hardware and to verify serviceability per manuals and repair documents. You will gain hands-on experience with APU systems and engine cores, doing inspections, assembly, and testing.

The role requires 2-5 years in aerospace inspection, knowledge of engineering drawings in English, and strong analytical abilities. SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• NTC Aerospace Technology/Engineering certificate or higher.
• 2-5 years inspector experience in Aerospace Industry.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair documentation in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of aero engine hardware against quality requirements.
• Establish serviceability and note repairs per manuals and repair docs.
• Review technical manuals, dispositions, and customer requirements.
• Support continuous improvement to boost productivity and quality.
• Assist Engineers and Planners with parts review and repair capabilities.
• Perform calibration and TPM management for inspection tools/equipment.

Aircraft Inspectors (Engines)

BUILD YOUR TECHNICAL FOUNDATION IN AEROSPACE

Put your mechanical, engineering or technical education into practice in a hands-on aerospace environment working with critical aircraft components.

As an Aircraft Inspectors (Engines), you will develop specialized technical knowledge by working directly with APU and aircraft Engine Core, performs hands-on maintenance, inspection, assembly, and testing of aerospace components and APU systems based on strict technical manuals.

Through structured on-the-job training, you will gain practical experience in how aerospace components operate, how faults are identified, and how mechanical and electromechanical components are repaired, overhauled and tested.

This position is ideal for candidates with a mechanical, engineering or technical background who enjoy hands-on problem solving, understanding how equipment works and applying their skills in a highly technical aerospace environment.

LOCATION: Gul Circle, Singapore

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of aero engine hardware against quality requirements in accordance with respective approved manuals and repair documents on various APU models that site has the capabilities for.
• Establish correct serviceability of inspected aero hardware through disposition or entry of parts defect condition if within or out-of-tolerance; and the respective repairs needed to be called out.
• Review and interpret technical manuals, engineering dispositions, repair procedures, and customer requirements to support inspection activities.
• Initiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality per site annual assigned individual goals.
• Support Engineers and Planners for parts review and product repair capabilities within and outside the cell.
• Perform TPM management of inspection tool/gauge/equipment calibration.
• Perform 5S, housekeeping duties and secondary duties within the cell.
• Cross functional support and training to other department within the company and any other duties as assigned.
• May require flexible scheduling base on operational needs.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Must have at least NTC Aerospace Technology/ Engineering certificate or higher.
• Must have 2 -5 years inspector experience in Aerospace Industry
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair documentation in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently after going through on the job training.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred

• Familiar with MS Office applications including MS Teams.
